Almond milk, pistachio milk and cashew milk have become staples in grocery store refrigerators across the nation; recently oat milk made the dictionary!

Oat milk is created when water and rolled oats are blended together and then strained through a fine mesh filter, producing a non-dairy, gluten-free and nut-free liquid. Some brands add emulsifiers like gellan gum and locust bean gum for rich, creamy consistency similar to whole milk while “barista-targeted” versions with additional oils may also be included.

No matter its source, this natural-looking beverage has won many fans including Gigi Hadid. She donned an off-white creamy manicure at Cannes Film Festival in May 2024 to pair with her brown YSL dress; an effortless casual chic look easily accomplished at home or a salon.
